The Challenge
AI Biosciences was using unoptimized 3D printer software (Repetier-Host) to control molecular biology automation machines. This was cumbersome, required manual g-code entry, and was prone to human error.
The Solution & Architecture
Developed a custom desktop application using Eclipse RCP, Java, Grafana, InfluxDB, and Marlin. This provided an intuitive GUI, automated control, and faster UI development, resulting in safer, more efficient machine operations.
